Examples of Logic Controller Below are a few examples of projects that we have designed.

This Parallax Basic Stamp Chip  serves as the brains inside of electronics projects and applications that require a programmable microcontroller. It is able to control and monitor timers, keypads, motors, sensors, switches, relays, lights, and more. Programming is performed in an easy-to-learn language called PBASIC.

All vital components (processor, clock source, memory, power regulator) are provided on the tiny PCB of the BS2e-IC; just connect power and go!  Projects needing small, permanent soldering area for circuitry may benefit from combining the BS2e-IC with the BASIC Stamp 2 Carrier Board (#27120) or the Super Carrier Board (#27130). For lower-cost OEM solutions, the processor (PBASIC2e interpreter) and other components are available for integration into your PCB.

The BS2e-IC is useful for smaller projects. For customers that require a more powerful or true multi-processing capabilities, we highly recommend the Propeller microcontroller

 

This box is an industrial control box used in-house one of a kind construction. The box used an LCD display to provide critical battery charge information.

 

This is the inside of a custom battery charge circuit used on an experimental hybrid electric vehicle. Many sensors in this box such as ac curent sensors, dc current sensors, battery voltage sensors all fed into the basic stamp controller, with the output displayed on the LCD display.

 

The Propeller is a proprietary chip produced by Parallax for more demanding applications. This module is a multi-processing chip, with shared memory and a built-in interpreter for programming in a high-level object-oriented language, called Spin™, and low-level (assembly) language. With the set of pre-built Parallax "objects" for video, mice, keyboards, NTSC/VGA displays, LCDs, stepper motors and sensors your application is a matter of high-level integration with Propeller chips. The Propeller chips are designed for high-speed embedded processing, while maintaining low power, low current consumption and a small physical footprint.

This particular Board is an 8 relay DPDT relay output board designed to interface with the and be controlled by the universal CPU board.

 

This board is an isolated 256k ohm 8 bit digital potentiometer. The client needed a very rugged isolated potentiometer for use in controlling an AC Circuit.

 

 

This board is a universal Basic Stamp controller board designed to just plug into any of the other modules. It is ready to program and requires no development cost to use which simplifies your cost effective project. This Universal Basic Stamp Control Board is shown with the Parallax Basic Stamp 2P 40 pin Module .

 

This Board is a 16 digital input board that can be used to detect contact closures or other on off events, and then rapidly notify the processor. As you will notice this board has all of the IC's mounted in sockets for low volume applications. IC's can also be wave soldered directly to the board for production volume applications.
